Our Town- A play in three acts by Thornton Wilder

First of all I don't know to much about the play yet, we only had a one act read through so far (which josh and Chris had to so rudely interrupt.) I think that anyone that cares enough about the play either knows what our town is about, or they can figure it out themselves. I'm not going to type the whole story of the play. I also don't know the full cast list, however I can say that I am Howie Newsome, a.k.a. the "milkman." Definitely some type casting occurred. I'll swipe the full cast list for tomorrow night. Probably.

wanninger has a tendency to type cast - which is pretty much why i almost didn't try out for pride and prejudice, because if i made it in, i pretty much already knew who i'd be cast as. but, i did, and i still had fun. so, whatever.

Typecasting= giving you parts like your personality

An example: Hannah is loud and annoying, which is why she was a good Mrs. Bennett.

playing the same role over and over again is not that fun.
it's not acting if you're just playing yourself.
